I remember watching this with my parents as a kid, and freaking out that the car didn’t have a driver. What’s odd is, it seemed to be on TV all the time when I was in early elementary school. Then, as I got older, it just disappeared and channels just showed The Duel or Christine. Nice to see it getting some attention

I remember seeing this movie on the “Saturday afternoon thriller” when I was kid. They always played old b movies. Good memories.

I was between six to eight when i saw this movie. I was actually intrigued. A cousin actually pointed out the devil or whatever demon it was in the fire. Loved the line about gen xers being built differently. I remember chips. Hell one night i was at work when the wind picked up. I was so eaiting to hear the cars horn and see it too. 😂😂😂😂😂😅

It's been decades since I watched the movie on television; but I'm sure when the car is dynamited at the climax the clouds of the explosion briefly form into the face of a demon. Incidentally, if one buys the premise it's a decent movie. I bought the premise.

I really love when I am watching one if these videos and it unlocks some old memory of a Svengoolie B horror movie I caught one afternoon.

Growing up in the Bible Belt in the 70s was always crazy. My father took us to see this on its opening weekend and two days later, the movie was removed from Georgia movie theaters.

There was another 70s movie called Wheels of Terror, about a psycho driving his car into women, kidnapping them and then raping them. He would considerately drop them off on the roadside when he was done, though.
